Configure Highlighting
In order to emphasize the importance of certain fields and fieldsets within a document type, you can configure Highlighting during the Extraction Validation process. This feature allows you to visually highlight specific areas of a document to make them more noticeable for validation.
Please note: This configuration is only available for individual document types.
Where to Find the Highlighting Configuration
To configure highlighting, navigate to the following menu:
- Configuration -> Document Types
- Select the document type you wish to configure
- Click on Fields (see below)
Available Highlighting Options
In the Fields section, you will find two checkboxes that control the highlighting behavior:
- Highlight Rows?
- When enabled, the system will highlight every row with a box around all fields in the document type.
- Highlight Columns?
- This option highlights the every column of fields within a different color.
By selecting one or both of these options, you can tailor the highlighting to emphasize the parts of the document that are most important during validation.
Examples of Highlighting Configuration
To better illustrate how these settings work, below are two examples:
- Example 1: All fieldsets are highlighted in the document. This configuration makes all the important fields stand out for easier identification during validation.
- Example 2: No highlighting is applied during the extraction validation. This provides a more neutral view of the document for comparison. Here you only see those fields which has been confirmed for extraction already.
