Use different document upload profiles

Learn how to set up automatic processing, validated processing and different validation tenant accounts via document upload profiles.

A upload profile defines the way in which the tenant documents are processed. Multiple profiles can be defined per tenant. The profile to be used is specified during the upload.

Upload Profile Configuration Overview

Via Configuration > Upload you'll get an overview of all availlable upload profiles.

The upload profile "client" is set up by default. Additional profiles can be defined via "New" and existing profiles can be edited via the edit button.

Manual User Steps

Documents in the Parashift platform go through an automated workflow. There are three points at which the user can intervene in the process. One is the confirmation of the separation of documents, the classification confirmation and the validation of the data extraction.

The Parashift platform supports three levels per step, which allow for organizational partitioning. A document always starts in level 1 and from there it is possible to forward a document to level 2 or level 3. In addition, a quality check (QC) can be integrated per stage. If this is defined, a certain percentage of documents is forwarded for inspection.

This division can be defined across tenants.

Upload Profile Configuration Interface

In the upload profile, the organizational workflow can be defined, as well as the classification security and the automatic document separation to be used.

General settings

In the general settings part you can define the identifier. The option documents per month is the basis for the calculation of the processing time. In addition, the time (grace period) after which a stage is to be automatically skipped can be specified.

Definition of the organizational workflow

The steps "Separation", "Classification" and "Validation" can be defined separately.

You can define the tenant for the first, second and third level separation validation. The document always starts in first level. If the second level or the third level entry is empty you have not the possibility to forward to this level.

Subsequently, a quality inspection can be defined. This requires the specification of a tenant (qc separation validation) and a percentage (qc separation rate) of how many documents are to be checked.

Classification settings

In the classification section you can specify automatic processing. For example, you can set a classification threshold value, if it is exceeded, a document will be automatically assigned to the document type. If this threshold is not reached, the fallback document type id is used. If no fallback is  set, manual document classification is required.

Separation Settings

The Parashift platform supports separation via barcodes, white pages or a fixed number of pages.
