Manage Access Roles and Permissions

Learn which access roles and permissions are available and how to use them.

The Parashift Platform provides various user roles and permissions to control access and functionality within the platform.

Parashift Platform comes with the following user and permission differentiations.

These roles are categorized into three main areas: Validation, Contribution, and Administration.

Validation Roles

These roles are responsible for overseeing the different stages of document processing.

  • Separation

    • Can view, forward, and close all separation tasks assigned to a tenant.
    • Can view the associated documents and add/alter separation-related data.
  • Classification

    • Can view, forward, and close all classification tasks assigned to a tenant.
    • Can view the associated documents and add/alter the documents' classification.
    • Can see the list of available document types in the document owner tenant.
  • Extraction

    • Can view, forward, and close all extraction tasks assigned to a tenant.
    • Can view the associated documents and review/add/alter the documents' fields.
  • Quality Control (QC)

    • Can view and close all QC operations tasks assigned to a tenant.
    • Can view the associated documents and review/add/alter the documents' fields after the documents are marked as "Done."
  • Supervisor

    • Can view, forward, and close all validation tasks assigned to a tenant.
    • Can view the associated documents and add/alter separation-related data.
    • Can see who worked on the tasks and for how long, reset documents, or view performance/quality reports for users in a tenant.

Contribution Roles

These roles are focused on uploading, viewing, and modifying documents.

  • Contributor

    • Can upload and view documents and fields.
    • Can view usage reports.
  • Developer

    • Can upload, view, and export documents and fields.
    • Can reset or delete documents, list tasks, view usage reports, or view/add/remove API keys and webhooks.
  • Configurator

    • Can upload, view, and export documents and fields.
    • Can reset or delete documents, list tasks, and view usage reports.
    • Can view, forward, and close all validation tasks assigned to a tenant, view the associated documents, and add/alter separation-related data.
    • Can add, change, remove document types and document type fields, clone standard document types, and view prediction accuracy reports.

Administration Roles

These roles manage users and overall platform access.

  • User Admin

    • Can view, add, remove users, and assign permissions within a tenant.

  • Admin

    • Can do almost everything, except add or remove an owner.
  • Owner

    • Can perform all actions, including adding or removing an owner.
