Learn about the available image optimization functionalities
The platform offers some essential document enhancement features, e.g. rotation, deskewing and cropping. The objective of the functions is to unify the visualization of the documents and thus to improve and stabilize the recognition models.
Functionalities
Rotation
Especially when scanning documents, the feeder may cause misalignments regarding the rotation of documents. It is also possible that documents were scanned in landscape format on an A3 scanner.
This kind of rotations are corrected automatically.
Cropping
Also when using scanners it is possible that blind colors appear, here the black frame.
With the help of cropping, these frames can be removed automatically.
Deskewing
Enable / disable features
By default the option rotation and deskewing is enabled for each tenant. The cropping is disabled.
