Improved Document List Loading Performance

As some customers have reported issues with section loading times and overall platform performance in the UI, we would like to provide a short overview of the improvements already implemented and our next steps to further improve performance.
We are introducing improvements to document list loading, particularly for tenants with a large number of documents.

What’s improved
Two fixes have been deployed to:

• Improve document list loading performance
• Reduce loading times and timeouts
• Improve stability when working with large document volumes

These changes complement the recent redesign of document loading in the Overview section.

What’s next
Following the improvements already introduced in Overview, we are working on bringing the same optimized loading and pagination approach to:

• Separation
• Classification
• Extraction
• Quality Control

This will make working with large document volumes faster and more reliable across the platform.

Recommendations for large document volumes tenants
For the best performance, we recommend using filters to limit the number of documents loaded at once. In particular, filters such as created_at and workflow step can significantly narrow down the results and make it easier to find relevant documents.

We also recommend considering a document retention strategy and deleting documents that are no longer required after a defined period. Reducing the overall number of stored documents can further improve performance for tenants with high document volumes.

With the upcoming pagination improvements, using filters will become an increasingly important and efficient way to navigate large document sets rather than browsing through all available documents.
