Automation Agents are now available, enabling smarter document workflows. Key features include reclassification, automated user assignment, document naming, and master data matching, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and reducing manual effort.
🚀 Automation Agents Now Generally Available
The core capabilities of the Parashift Platform have always been the Separation, Classification, and structuring of data hidden in these documents (Data Extraction). While we are constantly working on strengthening these features even further, over the years, we increasingly got feature requests to go beyond only structuring data but also contextualizing it.
We are excited to announce that Automation Agents are now generally available, enabling customers to automate even more aspects of their document-driven workflows. With Automation Agents, the Parashift Platform moves beyond traditional document processing by enabling smart, contextual decision-making within the document lifecycle.
Key Capabilities (for now) 🛠️
- Reclassification of Documents: Automatically adjust document classification based on extracted content and document context, ensuring accurate processing and routing.
- Automated User Assignment: Dynamically assign documents to the correct users or departments based on predefined rules and extracted metadata, streamlining workflow efficiency.
- Intelligent Document Naming: Standardize and automate document naming conventions using structured data, making document retrieval and organization easier than ever.
- Master Data Matching: Automatically cross-check extracted information with existing master data, improving data integrity and reducing manual verification efforts.
⚙️ How It Works
Automation Agents allow users to define conditions that determine when they trigger and specify actions to be executed. While currently simple, we will continuously expand the range of available conditions and actions, making the whole greater than the sum of its parts. These agents can be easily configured via the Parashift Platform’s intuitive interface, enabling customers to automate simple yet impactful workflow decisions.
🎯 Why This Matters
By reducing manual intervention and optimizing document processing with intelligent automation, Automation Agents help organizations achieve:
- Higher Efficiency: Faster processing times with fewer manual touchpoints.
- Improved Accuracy: Reduced human errors through automated decision-making.
- Enhanced Compliance: Consistent classification and processing based on structured rules.
What's Next 🔮
This is just the beginning for Automation Agents. We are committed to continuously enhancing their capabilities by adding more conditions and actions, further extending their automation potential. In addition, we will integrate them with more systems to increase their versatility and introduce AI-driven capabilities for both actions and conditions. Stay tuned for regular updates as we build on this foundation to make document-driven workflows even more intelligent and efficient.
Getting Started ✅
Automation Agents are now available to all customers. If you’re interested in enabling this feature or learning more about how it can streamline your document processes, reach out to us or visit our support center for detailed setup instructions.
We look forward to seeing how Automation Agents transform your workflows!
🔢 Added Flexibility with Variables
Together with the general availability of Automation Agents, we are also introducing support for variables to make automation more flexible and dynamic. Variables allow users to reference extracted data and other contextual information within conditions and actions, enabling more powerful and adaptable automation rules.
With this enhancement, Automation Agents can:
-
Dynamically adjust conditions based on extracted document data.
-
Use variable-based logic to create more sophisticated automation flows.
-
Improve accuracy by leveraging real-time data within actions.
This is just the first step in making Automation Agents even more powerful. We will continue to refine and expand their capabilities to support increasingly complex automation scenarios.
🤏All the small things
🏃♀️ Quick Access to Configuration
During Testing and Configuration, you often switch between the document and the Upload and Document Type (Field) Configuration. To make this simpler, we added two Quick Access menus for Configurators and Admins.
🎄Increased visibility currently selected row
For power users working in the "Aggressive" field value highlighting option, we increased the visibility of table rows as with densely populated tables it was sometimes hard to see which row one was editing.
